Popbob may restrict an account, a specific shop, or an individual listing when activity breaks marketplace rules or creates a safety risk. The message shown in Popbob will tell you which part of the account is affected.
Account and shop restrictions
Account restriction
An account restriction can prevent purchases, messages, uploads, shop creation, and other account actions. Shops owned by the account may also lose access to marketplace features.
Shop restriction
A shop restriction removes its marketplace and public access while leaving the owner able to see the restriction in the Superpanel. Shop operations, including withdrawals, may be unavailable until staff review the issue.
Listing action
A listing can be removed or moderated without restricting the entire shop. Review the affected product and any moderation alert before publishing it again.
Why access may be restricted
Common reasons include:
- Scamming, payment abuse, or attempts to bypass Popbob checkout
- Prohibited products, illegal goods, or NSFW uploads
- Misleading, duplicated, or incorrectly categorized listings
- Spam, abusive messages, or unsafe account activity
Some restrictions are automatic, including the block applied when an uploaded image is detected as NSFW. Staff can review automated actions when you provide the relevant context.
What to do next
Read the restriction message first. Do not create another account or shop to work around it. Keep any order numbers, listing links, delivery evidence, and screenshots related to the action.
If your account can still send messages, open Support, choose Account Issue, and explain what happened. Include the affected username or shop, the restriction message, and the evidence staff need to review it. If the notice gives different contact instructions, follow those instead.
Payment reviews
A payment held for manual verification is not the same as an account restriction. The payment status page explains that review and whether the order is still being processed. Do not repeat the payment while it is under review because that can create duplicate charges or orders.
